Golden Hour

August 2024 Vol 15, No 8

We value the art of practicing medicine.

We also value Art as Medicine
to lift the human spirit.

To honor these values, we partner with artists touched by
cancer to tell their story and showcase their works of art.

Meet Patrick, JONS Artist in Residency

Patrick Sanford

Having experienced personal loss due to cancer, losing both his parents, Patrick has dedicated the past 20 years to volunteering as a wish granter for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. His journey from San Diego, where he honed his skills as an artist and photographer with unwavering support from his parents, led him to the captivating world of surf photography. Patrick is now devoted to exploring coastlines and travel destinations, seeking to capture the essence of nature through his fine art images that aim to motivate and inspire.
