Dear Navigators, Social Workers, Administrators, and Clinical Staff,
Here we are at the end of another rather unusual year. As the pandemic continues, we’ve had to adapt our oncology practices, our personal lives, and our professional organizations to function in the safest way possible.
The Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators (AONN+) has embraced many new platforms to connect with our members. Our midyear and annual meetings have been held virtually, we’ve continued to offer Facebook Live Events and the Heart and Soul of Oncology Navigation podcasts, and we’ve teamed up with our sister organizations, such as the Association for Value-Based Cancer Care, to offer webcasts.
We look forward to 2022 with optimism and are preparing to welcome you back to a live, in-person meeting. AONN+ will host the 2022 Midyear Conference in Austin, Texas, May 11-15, 2022. For those who are unable to attend in person, we are happy to offer a virtual simulcast.
The 4-day hybrid event will give attendees plenty of opportunities to connect with peers, meet members of the AONN+ Leadership Council, share best practices, and get a glimpse of the latest innovations from exhibitors to aid in providing optimal patient care.
I hope you will consider joining us. Visit www.aonnonline.com to register. In the meantime, on behalf of all of us at AONN+, I wish you a happy, healthy, and safe holiday season.
Sincerely,

Lillie D. Shockney, RN, BS, MAS, HON-ONN-CG
