Dear Navigators, Social Workers, Administrators, and Clinical Staff,
On behalf of all of us at the Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators (AONN+) and the Journal of Oncology Navigation & Survivorship (JONS), I’d like to personally invite you to submit an abstract for the 13th Annual Navigation & Survivorship Conference to be held in New Orleans, LA, November 2-6, 2022. This is an opportunity to share your evidence-based navigation research studies, quality improvement projects, and best practices utilizing pre- and postdata elements to enhance your program with your navigation and survivorship care colleagues.
The categories for abstract submission align with the AONN+ Domains of Knowledge and are as follows:
- Category I: Community Outreach/Prevention
- Category II: Care Coordination/Care Transitions
- Category III: Patient Advocacy/Patient Empowerment
- Category IV: Psychosocial Support, Assessment
- Category V: Professional Roles and Responsibilities
- Category VI: Research, Quality, Performance Improvement
- Category VII: Operations Management, Organization Development, Health Economics
- Category VIII: Survivorship and End of Life
We also host a separate category for industry-sponsored clinical research. While we welcome industry-supported
abstracts, these submissions are informational only and not eligible for the Exceptional Poster Award.
All submissions will be peer-reviewed, and the abstract author(s) will be notified of acceptance for poster display and/or presentation at the 2022 AONN+ annual conference. To have your research abstract considered for inclusion in the 2022 AONN+ annual conference poster session, please visit www.AONNonline.org.
If accepted, authors are expected to create a poster for display at the annual conference, as well as send a PDF of the poster for submission to the Exceptional Poster Award. Winners of the Exceptional Poster Award will be announced at the annual conference.
The abstract submission deadline is July 16, 2022.
