In a 3-part presentation, the AONN+ Policy and Advocacy Committee shared its work and goals, discussed COVID-19 and its impact on patients with cancer, and provided an update on Medicaid expansion.
The Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators (AONN+) is pleased to announce the launch of a national committee addressing community outreach, prevention, and early detection.
The newly relaunched AONN+ Survivorship Committee asks 4 key questions of navigators that should drive survivorship care.
AONN+ to utilize legislative, regulatory, and policy advocacy to protect and promote the practice of oncology patient navigation in order to best serve individuals and families impacted by cancer.
The AONN+ Technology & Innovation (T&I) Committee focuses on using technology to support and facilitate patient navigation in 3 ways.
The Assistance for Quality Improvement and Research (AQUIRE) Committee is dedicated to empowering all AONN+ members to conduct impactful research projects and publishing the results.
This is your year to conduct research and share your findings. AONN+ and the AQUIRE committee can help you to reach this goal.
The beginnings of the Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators (AONN+) were based on empiric knowledge that navigating patients through the maze of cancer care improves their clinical outcome as well as their experience.
