Letters from Lillie

Welcome to our first issue of the New Year for the Journal of Oncology Navigation & Survivorship. This issue is filled with information that I am confident you will find inspiring and applicable to your work as a navigator.
Happy New Year! As 2014 comes to a close and we march into 2015, it is only fitting to hope that you and your family have a happy and healthy new year.
It doesn’t matter if you are new at navigation or a seasoned navigator, we each need to invest in our careers.
We are into the final countdown with just a few weeks before our Fifth Annual Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators (AONN+) Conference!
Hello everyone! Summer has finally arrived and we hope you are enjoying vacation time with family and friends. We are busy putting the final touches on our Fifth Annual AONN+ Conference at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida, September 18-24, 2014.
Welcome spring 2014! This issue of the Journal of Oncology Navigation & Survivorship (JONS) is full of information for you to apply within your own work setting, share with fellow navigators and your supervisor, and hopefully will inspire you to personally begin collecting measurement outcomes!
This issue of the Journal of Oncology Navigation & Survivorship provides continued information and knowledge learned at the 2013 Fourth Annual Navigation and Survivorship Conference.
Happy Holidays to everyone, and Happy New Year from everyone at AONN+! We hope that the New Year is a happy and healthy one for you and your loved ones.
We are into the final countdown with just a few weeks before our 4th Annual AONN conference! This issue of JONS gives you a preview of the poster presentations that will be on display and presented at the meeting. There are 50 abstracts, each with a specific focus on the navigation or survivorship care process.
I hope everyone has enjoyed their summer! We are now even closer to our 4th Annual AONN Conference in Memphis. I am hoping to see you there. We have a great lineup of experts to empower you with new knowledge and practical tools to make your navigation role better than ever—for you and for your patients!
